Letter to the Editor: Help Save Crestview Park
The author expresses concern over the plans to lay synthetic grass at Crestview Park in San Carlos.
Dear Editor;
Did you know that the City of San Carlos is planning to convert another San Carlos park with natural grass to plastic turf?
Plastic turf may have its place at a dedicated sports complex, but it does not belong in a community park that is meant to serve the diverse needs of the general population. Especially in a city that is woefully short of parks and open space for the general population to use and enjoy.
