Laurel is a junior at Sequoia High School. She is the Sports Editor for Sequoia's newspaper, the Raven Report, and also worked for KCEA, Sequoia Union High School District's radio station. At KCEA (89.1 FM) she helped to broadcast local high school sports including football and basketball. Currently, she covers sports for the high school sports website Prep2Prep.com. Besides journalism, Laurel's other passion resides in the pool, where she swims year round and plays water polo. She loves football, her two golden retrievers, and aspires to one day be fluent in Spanish.
