Located inside the City Hall building at 600 Elm Street in San Carlos, and sharing it's department with theMore neighboring city of Belmont, the Belmont - San Carlos Fire Department serves the cities of Belmont and San Carlos, as well as other areas of San Mateo County. Services include fire control, paramedic response and rescue services for vehicle accidents. Emergencies are handled 24 hours a day, every day, by a team of 42 firefighters, the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, two Fire Prevention Officers, a Disaster Preparedness Officer and the administrative staff.
