British Food Centre on El Camino Real is one of three locations, with the largest store at Kirkwood Plaza in…More Campbell. The company was founded 30 years ago, and have had the El Camino Real location for approximately 19 years.</p> <p>It specializes in British, Scottish and Irish food items, as well as imported gifts and souvenirs.  It also promises prompt, nationwide shipping.</p> <p>The shop is busiest on weekends and, while there is not a huge British population in San Carlos, many British tourists find their way to British Food Centre, as well as locals who have discovered a favorite candy or jam while abroad and want their fix.</p> <p>The store sells candy, cakes, teas, jams, tea sets and much more. His top two "lieutenants" followed him. These folks are happy, and they show it. The prices are great, and so is the food: Martin Yan himself presented them the honor of "Top 100 of Local Favorites Across the USA" in the <em>Chinese Restaurant News</em>.
