I remember Joe Kimble very well. He proudly served with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office from…Read More 1953-64, I missed a wonderful opportunity to serve with him, since I did not start my employment there until 1966. Joe was highly respected in every law enforcement job and assignment he ever held. He was great man, always ready to help a fellow, person, or officer, to be better at his/her job. The last time I saw Joe was when he stopped by for a visit and a short lunch with the dayshift staff at the DeAnza Community College Police Department Office, where his was previously served as the campus Chief of Police, that was in 2009. Joe will always be remembered for his great smile and friendly manner. Joe was a true law enforcement professional. His good deeds will nor be forgotten and he will surely be missed. My wife (Eileen) and I extend our regards to his lovely wife Marilyn and the other members of his family. God Bless you all.

The class of 1971 at Serra High included unique individuals that wove a harmonious pattern of…Read More friendship and mutual respect. Buck stood out among those individuals. It was always a pleasure to run into him in the hallways and lunchroom. We have already lost several of our best classmates and it gets harder each time. I was fortunate enough to see him one last time during our annual Christmas gathering (actually my first) and will always remember him fondly. We are all better people for knowing Buck.
