We are disappointed with this coverage that essentially provides free marketing for a corporation,Read More Legacy Partners, taking their quotes unedited and not offering a reply from the GESC neighborhood most affected by these proposed buildings The truth is we accomplished nearly nothing in mediations although see that Legacy is using the fact they took place to market this oversized, out-of-scale project. This project aims to put 75% of San Carlos' future housing needs on a tiny strip across from the GESC neighborhood with life-threatening pedestrian crossings into the rest of San Carlos. The buildings are slated to tower 55 feet above our homes. To call this a transit village is merely for tax purposes. There is nothing in the project that promotes public transportation. Since this article was essentially a marketing piece disguised as an article, please expect an official response. Also, we hope that this too could get the type of placement on the top of the page that this so-called "news" is receiving.
