<p>Serving the cities of San Carlos and Belmot, the San Carlos Fire Department covers an area of more than 8 square miles with more than 53,000 people. </p> <p>The department is comprised of a fire chief, fire marshal, 42 full-time fire fighters and four stations. In addition to fire-fighting, the dedicated members provide emergency medical treatment, rescue services and vehicular accident assistance. </p>
