X-Treme X-Cursions Are Cure for Summertime Blues
There are four excursions coming up in August for San Carlos youth and teens ages 10-17.
August is fast approaching, but there's still plenty of summer left and plenty opportunities for kids ages 10-17 to take an adventure trip with the city's Youth Development staff.
Xtreme Xcursions is an adventure trip series designed to maximize fun with the goal of providing safe, supervised, and constructive outlets for youth and teens ages 10-17.
August adventures: (All adventures are from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.*)

1st– Great America $60
7th– Carlmont Pool $20

8th– Huddart Park $45
(*August 8th camping trip 11:30am– August 9th 11:30am, Dinner and Breakfast provided)
15th– Memorial Park $20
All trips begin and end at the San Carlos Youth Center, 1001 Chestnut St., and are led by Youth Development staff members. All field trips are from 9:00am to 5:30pm except for the Aug. 8 trip, which is an overnight camping adventure. Participants are asked to bring lunch and sunscreen, unless it is stated otherwise.
