Dog Days at AT&T Park

Dogs and their owners take over the field pre-game at AT&T Park. Please share your own pictures from Saturday's event.

They came in waves, well-behaved and friendly. The dogs ruled AT&T Park on Saturday and it all begame with a pre-game parade.

The San Francisco Giants have made "Dog Days of Summer" an annual event, going so far as to reserve a section of the bleachers for these furry friends and fans of the Giants.

Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog" was the favored song of the day.

The Giants also hosted "America's Cup Day," with Oracle Team USA's Jimmy Spithill throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Spithill is the youngest winning America's Cup skipper.

Cardinal Newman High (Santa Rosa) principal Doug Kirk served as Balldude along the the third base line and Jill Victorino was the Balldudette on the first base side. Victorino is a teacher and owns Hula's Restuarant in Escalon.
