San Carlos National 12-year-olds not alone
Other San Carlos Little League all-star teams are still playing in the 10-11 tournament in Redwood City and the 9-10 tournament in Pacifica.
While the San Carlos National 12-year-old all-star team advanced with a big victory on Sunday, the San Carlos American 9-10 year-old all-stars are also alive and well in their tournament at Fairway Park in Pacifica.
San Carlos American beat Ravenswood, 14-2, in its first game and will be playing Pacifica American on Wednesday at noon.
The San Carlos National all-stars played well, but lost their first two games and were eliminated.
San Carlos National also lost its first two games at the 10-11-year-old Little League all-star tournament in Redwood City. The San Carlos American team lost to Hillsborough in the first round but bounced back to beat Alpine-West Menlo, 5-2, on Sunday.
The American all-stars play again Tuesday, meeting Palo Alto National at 5:30 p.m. at Kiwanis Park in Redwood City.
