Photo of the Day: San Carlos Kids Sing Anthem at Giants Game

The "Star Spangled Banner" never sounded so good.

Thank you to Patch contributor and sports writer Rick Eymer for sharing these photos from "San Carlos Night at the Giants" on Friday.

As you can see, some of San Carlos' finest young voices kicked off the game by leading the crowd of 42,000 fans in the "Star Spangled Banner." And they had the added treat of watching SF 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick throw out an 87 mph first pitch.

The Giants lost to the Marlins 6-3(for the ninth time at AT&T Park against the fish), but Tim Lincecum pitched a good game, allowing three runs in seven innings, striking out eight and hitting a triple himself.
