Wizbots Robotics Tournament during National Robotics Week

As part of the third annual National Robotics Week (April 7-15th), Wizbots is hosting an ever-popular Wizball Tournament! Join us for 3 hours of fast-paced, exciting fun!

Kids from all around the Peninsula and Silicon Valley will get to compete in our favorite game - Wizball - inspired by Robot Soccer that is played in college tournaments around the world. In teams of 4-5, kids will design, build, program and operate their own robots using Play Station controllers in a game with goals, balls, obstacles and crazy rules designed to stretch minds and maximize fun. The afternoon is completely hands-on with multiple rounds of test games that allow for iterative design. The event will culminate in a final tournament where family and friends can attend to cheer on the players!

WHO: We invite all kids in grades 3-6, with or without robotics experience. (Beginners will get started with a quick tutorial in the bare essentials and will then be ready to jump in!)  Registration is limited to the first 40 enrollments.
