Every year, on Veteran's Day Weekend, Woodcraft sponsors the "Turn for Troops" program. Each of the 82 stores in the chain turns pens for the military personel located in the Iraq theater to use to write home to their family and friends. Over the past 7 years, Woodcraft of San Carlos has invited customers to come in an turn a pen and write a message to the soldier receiving the pen. In that time we have turned over 5,000 pens!! Just in this one store!!
