Seth Rosenblatt To Run For School Board Re-Election

The San Carlos School Board elections are coming up this November.

Seth Rosenblatt will officially run for re-election to the San Carlos School Board, according to Rosenblatt on his blog.

"Today I officially filed the paperwork to run for re-election to the San Carlos School Board," Rosenblatt wrote. "The filing period goes until August 12 (or potentially August 17), so there is no way to know who else may file."

Two seats up for re-election for the school board, and two seats will be up this November for the City Council, making this an election that could drastically alter the city.

Two or more people must run in order for the election to be held.

"Generally I believe elections are very healthy for the community as they promote a solid dialog about the issues, but we won’t know for sure for a few weeks," Rosenblatt said.

Rosenblatt said he will not be asking for donations, "However, I do ask for your endorsement," he said. "If you would like me to put your name down on my list of endorsers, please let me know. I am working on launching my campaign web site, and if there is indeed an election, I will list endorsers there."

Rosenblatt received a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He's been a resident of San Carlos for 14 years.
