The meeting, which will cover topics such as dealing with intruders at schools, cyber safety for children and traffic safety, comes largely in response to the recent fatal shooting of 20 elementary school children in Newtown, Conn., Rosenblatt said.

School administrators, counselors, teachers and representatives from the sheriff's office will be on hand to give a presentation and answer questions from the community.
