Patch Holiday Contest: Deck Your House and Win

Is your house the best-decked in town? Then enter our holiday lights contest and you could win $100,000 for the and .

Patch.com is launching a nationwide contest to find the best dressed home in its Patch communities, and the winner’s school district will receive the big bundle of dough, no strings attached.

Here’s how the contest works. Today through Dec. 26, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo or video to the contest entry form on  deckthehouse.patch.com. Patch users can then vote for their favorite house in the neighborhood.

Local winners from 860 Patch towns will be narrowed down to 24 finalists — all of whom will have their December electric bills paid by Patch (up to $500)!

From Dec. 30 to Jan. 8, Patch users will vote for the Best Decked House out of the finalists. The winner gets $100,000 donated to their local public school district(s).

So, get out your lights and ladders (and your competitive spirit)! Whether your style is sophisticated or silly, we want you to dress up your house in the name of good cheer and our kids. At the very least your home will be decked out like it’s never been before. And if we win, what better gift could we give to San Carlos kids?
