CHS Boys Basketball Finishes Strong, Remain Hopeful for CCS

The regular season came to a close for Scots basketball this week with a 54-25 win over San Mateo. Patch invites you to upload your basketball season photos/videos/commentary here!

Carlmont boys varsity basketball coach David Low says his team will learn Sunday if they've been invited to the CCS (Central Coast Section) tournament.

"There is a CCS seating meeting on Sunday, and depending on which teams in our division are put into the new Open Division, we may qualify," said Low.

The Scots finished the season 6-6 in league, 17-7 overall and are in sixth place going into Sunday's CCS seating. Low explained that because fellow Division 1 Menlo-Atherton and Sequoia finished with better records, Carlmont will have to wait to see where those schools are placed in the tournament.
