8 out of 10 Sequoia, Woodside Sophomores Pass Required Exit Exam

In the annual California High School Exit Exam, over 80 percent of the sophomores passed the math and English-Language Art tests.

More than 8 out of 10 sophomores at and Woodside High School passed the California Exit Exam during the 2011-2012 school year.

All high school students must pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) before graduating. Should they not pass it their sophomore year, students have additional opportunities every year.

Eighty-four percent of sophomores in California passed the exam, compared to 82 percent of Sequoia High sophomore and 80 percent of Woodside High sophomores.

Eighty-six percent of Sequoia sophomores passed and 85 percent of Woodside sophomores passed, compared to 84 percent of students in the state.
