Cooking Classes for Kids in San Carlos

What they’ll learn: Kids that learn how to cook not only foster a love of food, but they'll also learn how to measure, count, and explore their own creativity. Fussy eater? It has been suggested that children who take part in the preparation of meals are usually more open to trying new foods.

Cost: $20+ per class

Cooking classes and camps for kids usually begin around age 3 with basic measuring, stirring and food preparation techniques, and get more specialized by age 5. Whether it’s an Italian cooking class or cake decorating, the benefits of cooking classes for kids will be apparent the first time your child says, “Dinner's on me, Mom!”
