Q: Why is the Redwood City Police Blotter on San Carlos Patch? This is San Carlos.
A: Because I thought the sight of a naked person hitting someone with a bag was humorous as in fiction has nothing on reality.

Comment: Wrong Picture. The story on Patch on San Carlos Fire Dept has a picture of firefighters from Fire Station 14. That's in Belmont. Fire Stations 13 and 16 are the ones in San Carlos.
A: It's probably not even Belmont. Sometimes I need to go to wikipedia commons to grab art for a story. I apologize if this was misleading.

Q: Why does the San Carlos Fire story not mention Fire Chief Skinner's comments that Redwood City has 15 vacancies right now out of 59 sworn positions? That's even more than the 6 or 7 vacancies at San Carlos Fire. Is that a coming story in Redwood City Patch ?
A: While it has revelence to San Carlos, there is just so much I can put it, so I wanted to make sure to focus on San Carlos. Fire Chief Skinner spoke to the city council for nearly an hour. In percentage terms, Redwood City needs to fill roughly 25 percent of its positions and San Carlos needs to fill roughly 33 percent. As for a story on the Redwood City Patch, either you or I could bring it up.
My comments:
To paraphrase the movie, "Naked City," there are 27,000 stories in this city and these are only some of them. I need to make time to track down the other 26,992 or so.
