The Interviews: Elizabeth Ann Torrez

Elizabeth Ann Torrez was interviewed by the city council for the position of interim city council.

Elizabeth: I've spent all of my married life in San Carlos, 48 years. Both very active in community affairs. Supported the library and senior center. Worked for the school district. I was the president of PTA. My husband has been president of Lion’s Club. If there’s something I can, I’d love to.

Randy Royce: Looking ahead, over the next six months, there’s going to be a lot of work done on development. One of the things when most of us think of San Carlos is the preciousnmess of downtown. What comes to mind – how to protect our downtown?

Elizabeth – I think we need a lot more variety of shops instead of just restaurants.
