POLL: Does Crestview Need a Drought Resistant Landscape?

A letter to the Mayor sparks a question among readers: is the cost of water draining you, and is a drought-resistant landscape the way to go?

In a letter to Mayor Andy Klein, San Carland Margery Ranch wrote of her concerns regarding the financial strain of water bills, and the drought resistant landscape prototype being funded.

"The Crestview Park Homeowner's Association's water bills are a very real financial drainon the Association's budget," said Ranch in the letter, "The green grass, trees and  bushes planted nearly 30 years ago when all was new need to be replaced."

The drought resistant landscape will reduce water usage significantly and allow the entire Crestview area - from Club Drive to Crestview Drive - to b planted the same way.
