The City of San Carlos is seeking volunteers to fill the following vacant commission seats:
Vacancies on the Transportation and Circulation Commission - 2 Seats
The Transportation and Circulation Commission will have two (2) vacant seats due to the expiring term of two commissioners. If you are interested in serving on this committee, applications are being accepted at this time.
A majority of the members of this commission shall be San Carlos residents, preferably from varying San Carlos neighborhoods. All members have one vote.
Meeting Role and Schedule
The City Council established the Transportation and Circulation Commission to advise the City Council and other City agencies on motorized and non-motorized transportation matters within the City of San Carlos. For more information, see the Transportation and Circulation page of the City Web Site.
The Transportation & Circulation Commission meets every third Tuesday of the month and holds its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m., City Hall, Council Chambers, 600 Elm Street, San Carlos.
The deadline for the receipt of applications in the City Clerk's Office is Friday, May 31, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.. Interviews have tentatively been scheduled with the City Council on the evening of Monday, June 10, 2013. (The deadline was previously Feb. 25.)
