High Speed Rail, Plastic Bag Ban Tops City Council Agenda

The City Council meets inside City Hall tonight at 7 p.m.

The San Carlos City Council will reconvene Monday night at 7 p.m. inside City Hall, located at 600 Elm St., to discuss high speed rail and the plastic bag ban, among other serious issues that face the city.
The agenda, according to the city's website, will include:

  • High Speed Rail - Letter on Partially Revised DEIR, Inclusion of Alternative Overhead 4 Track Design for San Carlos
  • SBWMA Audits - Results of SBWMA Financial Audit, Update on Recology & South Bay Recycling Audits
  • Polystyrene Food Container Ban -Report on Outreach Process with Restaurants & Direction to Staff
  • Plastic Bag Ban - Update on Model Countywide Ordinance, Reaffirm Prior Direction, Authorize Outreach
  • Mosquito District - Authorize Mayor to Send Letters to Mosquito & Vector Control Board and Civil Grand Jury
  • High Speed Rail - Study Session on High Speed Rail, CalTrain & CHSR Blended Operations & CalTrain Electrification
