Eleven Applicants For Vacant City Council Seat Confirmed

Interviews for the position will occur Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the San Carlos Library.

The following 11 applicants will be interviewed Monday at 5:30 p.m. by the San Carlos City Council. The council will reconvene at 8:30 p.m. to possibly appoint a new member of the council. If a new member is appointed, that person will join the council on June 13 to appoint a new mayor.

• Brad Lewis, a former San Carlos mayor and director/producer for Pixar Animation Studios

• Elizabeth Torrez, a retired San Carlos School District Employee

• Don Eaton, former San Carlos mayor and vice president of Argus Financial

• Deborah Kemper, associate executive director of the San Mateo County Bar Association

• Linda da Silva, executive director of construction planning for the San Mateo County Community College District

• Ricardo Garcia-Pacheco, a business consultant and former member of San Carlos' Economic Development Advisory Commission

• Neha Singh Gohil, an attorney and nonprofit manager

• Brad Langford, a technology marketer for Cisco Systems

• Alex Phillips, a retired 17-year resident

• Jeff Richards, managing partner of The Office of the CIO

• John Sieling, a Realtor at Today Sotheby's
