Councilman Lewis Leaves Pixar, Joins New Fla. Based Studio

Lewis worked at Pixar for 10 years and will be directing animated features for the new studio.

Councilman Brad Lewis will be leaving Pixar after 10 years to direct animated features for new studio. 

The Hollywood Reporter said Lewis will be directing animated features for Digital Domain’s Tradition Studios.

“I am excited to join a company with Digital Domain's talent and expertise and to have an opportunity to be a part of its team in creating family-friendly stories and adventures,” Lewis said in a statement.

Lewis currenlty directs, co-produces and writes animated features for Pixar, including the Oscar-winning Ratatouille and the recently released Cars 2.

His new studio is based in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
