City Hosts Shredding Event

San Carlos allows you to get rid of old papers with shredding event.

Shred, Baby, Shred!

If you have a garage full of old letters, bills, flyers, and accumulated paper junk, San Carlos is giving you a chance to shred, shred, shred!

Residents are invited to come down to the Shoreway Environmental Center at 333 Shoreway Road on Saturday, September 24, and shred no more than five boxes of materials.

The event will be held from 9 am until 1 pm.

Holding this event at the environmental center allows users to bring used motor oil, antifreeze, latex paints, florescent lighting tubes, cooking oil and electronics to recycle, according to the city’s website.
