The rain let up long enough this afternoon for Public Works crews in downtown San Carlos to clear leaves and other debris from storm drains long Laurel Street.
One crew member pointed out the trash collection device installed inside of each storm drain to keep trash such as paper and plastic bottles from flowing into the bay.
