City Council Preview: Fire Services, Gas Pipeline Testing to be Discussed

Councilmembers reconvene at 7 Monday night.

The San Carlos City Council will reconvene inside City Hall Monday night at 7 pm to discuss the state of the fire department, PG&E’s gas line testing, among other issues currently facing the city.

Fire Chief Jim Skinner will give a report in from of the dais Monday night, giving council members an update and review of fire related issues. The San Carlos-Belmont Fire Department JPA dissolved this month, making way for the new fire hybrid model the city opted for earlier this year with Redwood City.

Fire fighter CalPERS and health benefits details will also be discussed tonight.
