City Council Meeting Preview!

The city council will meet Monday at 7 p.m. inside City Hall.

The San Carlos city council will reconvene Monday night at 7 p.m. inside City Hall.

The council, led by Mayor Ahmad - will to vote on the recommended approval by city staff of the city's membership in a countywide Regional Housing Needs Allocation Process (RHNA) program for mandated housing goals.

Also to be discussed is the potential of San Carlos contracting Look Design of San Carlos.

City documents said, "the proposal from LOOK Design LLC includes a scope of creative services totaling $150,000 in fees. Outside vendor fees for collateral production costs and placement fees are not included but could aggregate in the range of $450,000 over the next three fiscal years."

"Funding would come from the Redevelopment Agency’s Capital Projects budget which currently has a remaining budget balance of approximately $325,000 through Fiscal Year 2013/14. The recommended action would increase the CIP line item by allocating an additional $275,000 from RDA Fund 80."

The city will also discuss amendments to be made to the wireless telecommunications facility ordinance.
