Woman Walking With Daughter Hit in Crosswalk

The woman reported no injuries from the accident.

A woman was hit by a car while walking within the crosswalk with her seven-year-old daughter at the intersection of Cedar Street and White Oak Way Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m., said Sgt. Ron Albertson of the San Carlos bureau of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The young girl was not struck by the car.

The woman, 38, whose name was not given, reported no injuries when police arrived at the scene. No ambulance was dispatched and the report had no indication that she received medical treatment.

According to Albertson, the report said the driver failed to yield out of the way of pedestrians.  Albertson declined to report the make and model of the vehicle involved.
