Stormy weather Sunday is complicating air travel at San Francisco International Airport, a duty manager said.
As of 12:30 p.m. Sunday, 25 flights, nine departures and 16 arrivals, had been cancelled, SFO duty manager Lily Wang said.
Most other flights were running between 45 and 90 minutes behind schedule, she said.
Regional flights were most heavily impacted by cancellations, Wang said.
With bad weather forecast for the remainder of the day, flight delays at SFO were expected to accumulate and worsen into tonight, Wang said.
Passengers are being advised to check the status of their flights before leaving for SFO.

Everywhere you turn Sunday morning, there's weather related trouble on the roads, BART and the San Francisco Airport.
The current delay on flights out of San Francisco is over two hours, and delays will continue throughout the day. West coast flights and commuter flights are the most affected.
Flights will be delayed at least until midnight.

The rain is causing flooding on roadways around the Bay Area.
In San Francisco, several inches of water have been reported in north and southbound lanes on U.S. Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street, according to the CHP.
One foot of water has been reported in San Jose on a connector ramp between Interstate Highway 280 and state Highway 85.
The CHP is also reporting flooding on 85 northbound near Moffett Blvd., with the off-ramp affected.

- Accidents have been reported southbound 280 at Bunker Hill Road near San Mateo, southbound 280 at Foothill Expressway, northbound on 101 near Woodside Road, northbound 101 near 380, northbound on 280 near Sand Hill, 101 southbound near Hillsdale, 101 southbound near Marsh and northbound 101 near Sierra in Brisbane.
- Trees were down on Crescent Ave. in San Mateo, Woodside Road in Woodside, near the intersection of Oak Knoll and Summit in East Menlo Park and Bear Gulch Road near Skyline Blvd.
- Lightning was detected 80 miles west of San Francisco.
- Flash flood warnings in effect in Sonoma County. Wind advisory on Bay Area bridges. Winds are from the south at 30 MPH, gusting up to 47.
- Wires were dwned near Milagra Drive and Oceana Blvd. and on Johnson Ave. in Pacifica.
- The latest reports show 0.76 inches of rain in La Honda over a 24-hour period ending 7:38 a.m., 0.44 inches in Redwood City, and 0.38 inches in Millbrae.
- The California Highway Patrol has responded to several weather-related incidents on the highways.
- The good news: ABC predicts a clear Sunday evening.
