A San Mateo man accused of soliciting sexual acts from minors earlier this year accepted a plea deal on Monday in San Mateo County Superior Court, prosecutors said.

Roberto Miculax, 41, pleaded no contest to felony communication with a minor for a lewd act and misdemeanor soliciting in exchange for a maximum sentence of three years in state prison.

Prosecutors said that on Feb. 18, Miculax approached a 15-year-old girl who was standing on a sidewalk on Claremont Street in San Mateo and asked her in Spanish to perform a sexual act on him. The girl refused and left the area.

She called police, who searched for the suspect but did not locate him. Video surveillance from a nearby store was used to identify Miculax as the suspect after police released his image to the public on social media.

Two additional victims, both 12-year-old San Mateo girls, came forward and identified Miculax as having solicited sex acts from them on different occasions, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.

Miculax turned himself in to police on March 5, Wagstaffe said.

He remains in custody on $300,000 bail and is set to be sentenced on July 8.

LOL Marc. You are so wrong on many levels. I pity the ones who have to interact with you on a daily basis. Your response only shows how closed minded you are. Broaden your horizons, leave your comfort zone and explore how to have a happy life. Fighting the system in a conservative way only stagnates growth of a well rounded society. It's to bad you look down on the less fortunate people of our societies, but I'm sure you will continue to have them at your home cleaning your house and mowing your lawn. Try to get some well needed sleep tonight in your ivory tower and pray it does not tumble.

LOL Marc. It's no wonder the country is falling a part. Hope your therapist is on retainer for your family. You need help.

Agree its falling apart T Bag, maybe there is hope for you yet. Perhaps that AA degree is finally paying dividends. Please remember 15 dollars an hour to supersize your career and lifestyle in Seattle, could be a big career move for you and you can chill with your peeps in the park.

WOW. For someone who is trying to portray their self as educated and successful, you have really just shown you are quite the opposite. I feel pity for you and hope one day you will learn to respect all people because of who they are and not to belittle people to make yourself feel more important. Remember, society needs people to work all kinds of jobs that you would rather not do, but you probably frequent the establishments just like all of us. These are people who have families and are trying to make it just like you and I. From your responses you have revealed yourself in a very low image. Using insults because your frustrated with the truth is a poor example of ignorance and immaturity.
