San Carlos police are looking for more information on two residential burglaries that happened earlier this week.

One of the burglaries took place at a home in the 1600 block of White Oak Way sometime between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, police said.  The burglar or burglars entered the home through the side yard gate and garage where they rummaged through an unlocked car and stole $100 worth of property, according to police.

Down the street another burglary took place at a home in the 1500 block of Gover Lane sometime between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday, police said.  The burglar or burglars entered the home through an unlocked window in the kitchen and stole up $1,300 worth of property, according to police.

Police said it appears the burglar or burglars exited through the window and did not trespass any other rooms in the home.

A resident saw a green Toyota SUV in the area that looked unfamiliar to the neighborhood, police said.

City residents who may see any suspicious activity in their area are asked to call 911.
