San Carlos Hires TriData Consulting Firm For Guidance On Fire Issue
Consulting firm to submit report in October, detailing options for the future of San Carlos' fire services.
In an effort to make the best possible decision regarding the future of fire services for the city, San Carlos has hired the Arlington, Va. based TriData Consulting Firm to analyze options, said assistant city manager Brian Moura.
Moura said the firm will have a report ready sometime in October, though he said no official date has been announced. Moura confirmed that a city council meeting will be held in October to discuss the report the firm submits.
At a recent meeting in Belmont, the decision was made to abolish the long-standing relationship Belmont and San Carlos had to share a fire department.

"It was common for the two cities to disagree on important issues," said Moura.
