Registered Sex Offender Arrested in San Mateo
Kent Lin, 25, was arrested after authorities allegedly found child pornography on his computer.
A 25-year-old registered sex offender has been arrested in San Mateo for allegedly possessing child pornography, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
San Mateo County deputy probation officers were conducting a probation search of Kent Lin in the 1600 block of Sugarload Drive Monday night when they found new images of child pornography on Lin's computer, police said.
According to the Megan's Law website, Lin registered as a sex offender for possessing "obscene matter depicting [a] minor in sexual conduct."
