RANDOM INCIDENTS OF NOTE:

**Saturday, Jan. 26 9:11 p.m. - Disturbance: Occurred on Topaz Street. Someone lit a tree in the parking lot of a church on fire. A dark truck was seen pulling out of the lot and turning onto Harding. Report taken.

Friday, Jan. 25 4:45 a.m. - Shoplifting: Occurred on Woodside Road. Subjects in a pickup truck of unknown color stole a lot of groceries then took off westbound on Woodside Road. Report taken.

Friday, Jan. 25 12:38 p.m. - Grand Theft: Occurred on Middlefield Road. Suspects were caught on video in a store switching bar codes on several items. 

Friday, Jan. 25 3:37 p.m. - Drug Activity: Occurred on Broadway. A white male wearing white sunglasses was seen sitting on a bench selling marijuana.

Friday, Jan. 25 8:59 p.m. - Gunshots Heard: On 4th Street in unincorporated area. Single shot. Referred to Sheriff's Office.

Friday, Jan. 25 9:56 p.m. - Gunshots Heard: On 3rd Street in unincorporated area. Multiple shots heard. Referred to Sheriff's Office.

Saturday, Jan. 26 1:58 p.m. - Gunshots Heard: Occurred on Douglas Avenue. Single shot per Gunshot Locator. Officers were unable to find any activity or evidence in the area.

Saturday, Jan. 26 5:37 p.m. - Shoplifting: Jewelry taken from a store on Walnut Street. Arrest made.

Saturday, Jan. 26 6:11 p.m. - Gunshots Heard: On Halsey Avenue in unincorporated area. Six possible shots. Referred to Sheriff's Office.

Saturday, Jan. 26 11:44 p.m. - Drug Activity: Occurred on El Camino Real. Reporting party said two black males came up to him at the bus stop and tried to sell him marijuana. Officers were unable to locate.

Saturday, Jan. 26 11:52 p.m. - Disturbance/Fight: Fight reported between squatters in an empty home on Clinton Court. Reporting party said squatters are constantly staying in the home. 

Sunday, Jan. 27 10:47 a.m. - DUI/Accident: Occurred on Redwood Avenue. 9-1-1 call reported a car had crashed into a parked car. Driver appears drunk. Arrest made.

Sunday, Jan. 27 3:54 p.m. - Shoplifting/Drugs: Occurred on Walnut Street. 30-year-old female on drugs in custody for shoplifting. Arrest made.

Monday, Jan. 28 3:09 a.m. - Gunshots Heard: Occurred on Warrington Avenue in unincorporated area. Referred to Sheriff's Office.

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES:

Sunday, Jan. 27 7:44 p.m. - Occurred on Brewster Avenue. Point of entry: front door broken. Occurred sometime since 5 p.m. Report taken.

Monday, Jan. 28 1:08 p.m. - Occurred on Broadway. Occurred sometime since 10:30 a.m. Point of entry: back door forced open. Victim said her brother was asleep in a back room and heard noises. Laptop, game player, games and jewelry taken. Report taken.

 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES:

Saturday, Jan. 26 12:59 p.m. - Occurred on E. Bayshore Road. Storage unit broken into. Report taken.

 

VEHICLE BURGLARIES:

Sunday, Jan. 27, 2:55 p.m. - Occurred on Blomquist St. 2012 gray Ford Escape. Window smashed, camera taken. Occurred within the last hour. No suspect info. Report taken.

Sunday, Jan. 27 7:51 a.m. - Occurred on El Camino Real. Theft of wheels and tires from vehicle. Report taken.

Sunday, Jan. 27 11:16 a.m. - Occurred on Woodside Road. Entry made through window, purse taken. Report taken.

 

STOLEN VEHICLES:

Friday, Jan. 25 5:09 p.m. - Occurred on Hoover Street. Owner thinks it may have been stolen last night, but just noticed it was missing at 4:30 p.m. today. Said it was parked on the street. Blue 1994 Honda Civic. Report taken.

"a tree in the parking lot of a church on fire" A bearded robed man carrying two large inscripted tablets was apprehended leaving the scene and taken to county health services for further observation.

hehe. The church was on fire but was not consumed by the flames. I love poorly constructed sentences.
