Monday Morning Crash Knocks Out Power to San Carlos Residents

Expect delays in the 2700 block of San Carlos Avenue as PG&E crews make repairs on downed power line.

An early morning traffic collision in the 2700 block of San Carlos Avenue has caused a power outage to a considerable number of San Carlos residents, according to the San Mateo County Alert System.

PG&E is on the scene and has made all downed power lines safe. The utility will remain on the scene today making the appropriate repairs. Flaggers will be on San Carlos Avenue to control traffic.

Motorists should expect delays in this area, which may affect traffic on the surrounding side streets as well. Use caution when driving in this area and be alert for PG&E workers.
