Missing San Carlos Man, Eric Hagler, is Back Home

The 20-year-old San Carlos resident was reported missing on Sept. 4.

Eric Hagler, the 20-year-old man who was reported missing on Sept. 4, was reunited with his family on Sunday.

According to Hagler's mother, Isaura, the young man was found safe and uninjured in San Francisco. She said her son hasn't given the family many details about his disappearance, but they are giving him time to readjust to being home.

On Sunday afternoon, Hagler's mother, posted a comment on San Carlos Patch, "Our prayers have been answered. ERIC IS HOME. He called his Mother Saturday afternoon and is safe. Thank you for everything, your well wishes, good thoughts and prayers. THANK YOU!!," she wrote.

Hagler had been last seen on Sept. 4 at his father, Ben Hagler's business, San Carlos Service. The Redwood City Police Department was investigating the case and fliers were posted throughput the Peninsula and on social media sites.

"We want to thank everyone for their concern and support during the last 17 days," said Mrs. Hagler.

"This is a parent's worst nightmare when your child is missing and I'm thankful the outcome is a good one for our family. Thank you, we are so grateful and appreciative for everyone's help in posting flyers and following the story on Patch," she added.
