While the officers were chasing Young, a female passenger in the car he had abandoned slid over into the driver's seat and drove away.

Investigators have since located and interviewed her, and she is no longer considered a person of interest in the case, according to police.

Police Chief Greg Suhr is hosting a community meeting this afternoon about the shooting. The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Northern Police Station, at 1125 Fillmore St.
