Man Arrested in RWC May be Connected to San Carlos Burglaries
Alexis Sanchez-Nava was arrested on Thursday in connection to a burglary in Menlo Park; deputies say he may also be linked to similar crimes in San Carlos.
A man arrested late last week for burglarizing a home in unincorporated Menlo Park may be connected to recent burglaries in San Carlos and Redwood City, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say on Thursday morning, an alert citizen in Menlo Park reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of his neighbor’s home and wrote down the license plate number. The vehicle, a white Toyota, sped off as the neighbor arrived home. Once inside, the neighbor discovered the home had been burglarized and called 9-1-1.
Sheriff’s deputies located the unoccupied vehicle in the 1900 block of East Bayshore Road in Redwood City.
