Highway Lanes Reopen After Six-Car Accident

An early morning accident in San Carlos stalled traffic.

A six-car accident that was blocking three lanes of southbound
U.S. Highway 101 in San Carlos for about an hour has been cleared this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:43 a.m. after the crash just north of

Holly Street was initially reported at 5:24 a.m. The alert was canceled at 6:47 a.m., CHP Officer Marc Johnston said.
