Fire at San Carlos Sheet Metal Company Under Control

The one-alarm fire at Spaceonic was reported at 9:18 this morning; no injuries have been reported.

An industrial building in San Carlos was evacuated after a fire broke out there this morning, a fire official said.

The one-alarm fire was reported at 9:18 a.m. at 266 Industrial Road, where the company Spacesonic Precision Sheet Metal is based, fire marshal Jim Palisi said.

Everyone in the building got out safely before fire crews arrived and no injuries were reported, Palisi said.

The fire was under control at 9:50 a.m., and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

According to Spacesonic's website, the company makes and assembles sheet metal into various products and parts.
