Bench Warrant Issued For Alleged Drunk Driver

Adam Meyer failed to appear in court on charges of driving while intoxicated.

A bench warrant has been issued for Adam James Meyer, who was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving after he sped out of a Jack In The Box in San Carlos.

Meyer, who failed to appear in San Mateo County Court in Redwood City before Judge Robert Atack, has a prior conviction for DUI.  He was out of custody on a $100,000 bail bond.

On March 29, Meyer refused to identify himself when his case was called. Due to his refusal, the judge ruled he was not present and Meyer was arrested which prompted ranting and yelling. Earlier that month, on May 13, Meyer was determined to be incompetent to stand trial.
