Alleged Meth Dealer Hearing In Felony Court This Afternoon

Sarah Jane DiLorenzo is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. in Redwood City Felony Court for felony charges for sale and possession of methamphetamines.

 According to District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe, DiLorenzo sold drug to an undercover informant on more than one occasion. Wagstaffe said her 5-year-old daughter was present for at least one of the sales.

 DiLorenzo is currently in county jail on $160,000 bail. Her daughter was taken by Child Protective Services. She is being represented by Scott Newbould.

 On June 3, three people were arrested on charges of possession and sale of crystal methamphetamine on the 1500 block of Greenwood, police captain Greg Rothaus said.

The three-month investigation began after the San Carlos bureau of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office received a number of complaints from neighbors of the house on the 1500 block of Greenwood regarding noise and excessive foot traffic to a house at early morning hours, said Police Chief Greg Rothaus.

 The Narcotics task force monitored the house for months, and had undercover agents purchase methamphetamine. The purchase of the drugs was enough to garner the task force a search warrant. Narcotics Task Force Commander Marc Alcantara said the street value of the meth taken from the house was $1,400.
