The 24 Hour Fitness on Industrial Road will be closed today until further notice, after a three-alarm blaze damaged the San Carlos Restaurant Supply next door.
The two businesses share a wall.
Employees at the gym declined to give any comment, but spokespeople from 24 Hour Fitness said they closed the club due to fumes and water leakage from the affected building.
"The safety of our members is a top priority for 24 Hour Fitness," 24 Hour Fitness released in a statement. "We will reopen the club when it is safe to do so."
