A Walking Tour of San Carlos: From Cows to Chrysanthemums

The City of Good Living came to prominence in its early days as a hub for dairy and flower farms. Take a walking tour this Saturday of some of the city's historic sites.

Did you know that before San Carlos was known for its vibrant downtown and charming neighborhoods it was  a hub for dairy farming and floral businesses?

Take a tour of the historic locations in downtown with the San Carlos Heritage Association on Saturday, July 13.

In a nod to its early industries, the event titled "Cows and Chrysanthemums," will begin at 10:30 a.m. in City Hall Park at the corner of San Carlos Avenue and Elm Street. The tour will conclude at noon at the San Carlos History Museum.
