What Vet Do You Trust for Your Pet?

Having a pet is similar to having a child. It takes time to find the right person to care for your dog or cat, especially when they fall ill.

Your four-legged friend is more than just a house guest. Whether you have a dog or a cat, or even a bunny or a snake, you want it to receive the best care when going in for a routine check-up or when he gets sick.

There are many excellent veterinarians in San Carlos and the surrounding areas, but Patch wants to know who you think is the best.

Is it an animal clinic in town, where you see different veterinarians? Or is there a caring person you tried on a friend's recommendation that has taken excellent care of your pet for years?

My regular vet is Dr. Cathy Jennings who comes to my house and treats my pets in the comfort of their own home. Dr Jennings is a knowledgeable, caring mobile vet who travels to her appointments with her assistant, Carol, who always has time to play with the pets and give them love.

For years I've been taking my three animals to Dr. Steve Sutter at Aragon Veterinary Clinic in San Mateo. Dr. Sutter was formerly the staff veterinarian at Guide Dogs for the Blind, and although he treats all animals, he specializes in Labrador retrievers. Aragon Vet Clinic is located at the corner of B St. and 2nd Ave. in downtown San Mateo.

We enjoyed our years with Holly Street/VCA Holly Street for our cats and our dog.
