RELAY FOR LIFE OF SAN CARLOS

San Carlos is having its own Relay for Life this year...and we want YOU there!!

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It is an overnight, team event where each community comes together for one day to honor cancer survivors and remember those we have lost. Teams of 8-15 people commit to raising $100 and take turns walking or running relay-style for 24 hours. To form a team today you can register online at www.relayforlife.org/sancarlosca

Participants collect donations from friends and family in honor or in memory of cancer survivors – for a suggested donation of $10 donors may make a luminaria – a white paper bag that is decorated in honor or in memory of a loved one. At night a magical ceremony is organized where participants light small candles in each bag and the luminaria light the track for the dark hours.
