AAUW Open House

To familiarize women in the community with the scope of the American Association of University Women: to increase community awareness of women’s issues and educational needs; provide Fellowships, Grants and Awards to women pursuing higher education; Legal Support and Advocacy in cases of female gender bias and sexual harassment in the workplace; Teaching/Mentoring/Financial Support to women recovering from substance abuse (Hope House); Scholarships for middle school girls to a residential summer camp at Stanford (Tech Trek) for hands-on projects in science, technology, engineering and math; and Docent-led Tours of historic Ralston Hall Mansion on the campus of Notre Dame de Namur University.
